I visited Harbin's Daoli Market and tried a range of local foods including Birch water, Guobaorou and Sticky rice dumplings. I also bought some Russian chocolates and Russian dolls with the help of Anna, my translator.

We then visited the Churin food company and saw how they bake 2000 loaves of 'lieba' a day (a type of Russian bread) I also got to taste kvass a drink made from the by-product of baking the bread.
